Man on Fire is an American 2004 film, directed by Tony Scott. Remake a film of the same name released in 1987, both are based on the first of a series of books by the writer AJ Quinnell on a mercenary former member of the US Navy and former member of the Foreign Legion. The film brings a burst of action and suspense with the fantastic cast Denzel Washington, Dakota Fanning and Christopher Walken.
In Mexico City a criminal organization composed of
marginal and corrupt police, promotes a wave of kidnappings of children and
frightens wealthy families. The businessman Samuel Ramos decides then hire a
bodyguard to protect her little daughter (Pita). Former CIA agent and US
mercenary, John Creasy is recommended by a friend to this work.
Creasy is close to commit suicide but his friendship
with the girl can help you recover. When she is kidnapped and presumed dead,
Creasy goes in search of revenge against those who kidnapped Pita and is
willing to do anything for anyone who is involved in this.
