A book with
young characters, involving drama and fun. A book that brings a lot of
emotions.
The Fault
In Our Stars is a book written by John Green and tells the story of a teenager
named Hazel Grace who lives since child with thyroid cancer (which brought a
pulmonary metastasis). She does not have long to live, so do not like to make
new friends and go out a lot, but still not lose the mood and do not becomes
the victim. Her mother the does go in a
support group of teenagers with cancer. The story changes when she meets
Augustus Waters, also young, former basketball player who had one leg amputated
because of osteosarcoma; it is also humorous and loves life. Thenceforth the
two try to enjoy the best possible way the last few days of life together.
This is a
book that mixes melancholy, sweetness, philosophy, fun and love. A book that
brings true love between two young people in their last days, and that will
make you laugh, cry and want more.
